CHARACTER: Seán Flanagan, he/him ABOUT: Preservationist. Seán is a young Irish classicist who caught TEA's eye with his proposed doctoral thesis, which identified bizarre anachronisms in the archaeological record of Ancient Ireland. He has been with the agency for three years now, and specializes in prehistory, antiquity, and Roman Britain. He is housemates with Bella and smokes like a chimney. STORYLINES: Friends! Co-workers! Co-workers who are friends! He isn't a Wrangler himself, but he trains for combat beyond the norm, and is always eager to do field work. What missions might we have had misadventures on?
I think most relevant of mine to Seán is Laurie, who is also a preservationist and was in his intern class. He tries to be friendly with all of those in his class, so I'm sure he also would be with Seán.
Mallory is friendly at everyone regardless of whether they want that or not.
This is Deli and I have three! Jack is an Irish wrangler time orphan from WWII and been around forever. Please join him as the pub with a pint of Guinness tyty.
My intern, Simone (sister to Kas's character), is a wrangler intern but probably has not much crossover. My innovator, Tess, also probably does not have crossover. I have no preservationists womp womp.

These are both perfect, honestly. Seán is not the warmest guy himself, so a mentor type like Raj could be handy. From his app it seems like they both throw themselves into combat a bit more than they really should as a non-Wrangler.
He definitely would have and if could've been Seán's mentor when he was an intern (if someone didn't already offer that I could have totally missed it)
i've got three here: einar, who is bella's brother, and probably just shows up in their place unannounced, apologies. he's a nightmare but he would like to be friends
toni loves her fellow preservationists, and she's been around a while: idk if he has a mentor but she could've mentored him previously?
briar is a wrangler intern and shy so probably nothing which is a shame because lol pbs
NATE used to be a preservationist but switched over to wrangling 12ish years ago. He's always down to spar and I'm totally up for him having had some misadventures with Nate!
CRIS is a fellow preservationist and I think they were in the same intern cohort. Her historical bent is fashion and she's very keen to make sure everyone Looks Their Best. She would absolutely befriend him. She hosts Trivia every Thursday for everyone, too!
Last is GRANT who is an intern. He's very tall so you can't miss him (although he'd like to be missed). He and Bella are besties, so there's a link there, I think!
i only have sébastien, who was in his intern class & is a fellow preservationist. he advertises himself as a luxury-model asshole but really, he's a tightly wound workaholic learning how to have friends. he's on a journey of malicious compliance after being told he needed to participate more in "workplace culture."
i've found that it works better to see how he is against other characters in play and work backwards lmao but if you have any ideas, i'm game!
benny (undercard) is a time wrangler who has been with TEA for about 10 years! originally, he was a boxer in the 20s/30s who got displaced around 1938. he's gruff but warm and will be friendly! maybe they could train together from time to time?
max (this journal) is an innovator and probably the one most likely to have the most interaction with seán since they're closest in age? maybe? he's been there 4 years! he's an excitable pop culture nerd whose biggest loves are star wars and cars. he can be a Lot but he is a sweetie.
jazz (historiographic) is an intern and aspiring preservationist! her focus is queer historiography and history, with a particular focus on post-war british lesbian life and culture. she is a surly little goth but loves talking shop with the preservationists!
